Bougainvillea Tree


Bougainvillea is considered to be a bush or a small tree, descent from South America, and most species bear heavy spines. Depending on the species the stems are woody and branching and theycan climb up to 12m height.





















Leaves:

Bougainvillea is a deciduous plant. It has large and fluffy leaves with stems which are heart-shaped or kidney-shaped.





















Flowers:

The flowers are beautiful and come in many colors like red, purple,pink,white and crimson. Their texture is like paper and after several weeks it drops the flowers so that new can replace them.

























Preferred Conditions:

Bougainvillea needs the sunshine to grow up and a limited amount of water each day. It thrives in hot, sunny and dry areas. Moreover it needs soil that drains well. The soil does not need to be rich in nutrients for bougainvillea to grow well


Not Preferred Conditions:

Bougainvillea is sensitive to cold climates. That is the reason that it can not be found everywhere. Cold can actually destroy it, so it needs extra care in the winter. always avoid to put it in a place that wind crashes.
